WHAT CSA MEANS FOR US...
CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), is a connection between us (your farmers), and you; our benefactors and supporters. When you sign up for a membership share, you are making a commitment to Four Frog Farm which says that you will support us through thick and thin, good weather and bad, light harvests and abundance. It means that we will work hard to supply you with the freshest veggies and fruit and provide you opportunities to learn about and experience farming and the farm.
Why do you want to become a member? Purchasing a share keeps Four Frog Farm financially viable and helps us thrive. If you believe fresh food is a right, and that small farms must exist in the landscape and culture, then purchasing a membership is elemental in supporting us small-scale, Organic farmers. It helps insure that we continue to grow in the otherwise financially slowest of times; winter and spring.
When you become a member, you take active steps in a food revolution. We invite you out to the farm early and often to experience what a working, small-scale Organic farm does. It is a beautiful thing, and your support makes it possible.

FOUR FROG "CSA SHARES" IN 2012

There is only one CSA share size. It is suitable for a family of four that uses vegetables in most meals, but doesn't rely on them for the majority of it's food consumption. It is also ideal for a veggie couple. The cost is $444 for each share. A $22.20 weekly value is an average. The season will last 20 weeks; Junish through Octoberish. Weather permitting.
In a CSA subscription we prepack your shares, which means we choose what goes into your box. You also receive a 20% discount for puchases made at our farmers' market stall or any "direct from the farm" orders.
As a member, you purchase your share of veggies up-front. We price our shares according to what we think is a good share of veggies for the week. We promise to share abundance when production is good.
We encourage "sharing" of membership. Share with friends and family, they'll love you for it, and we will too.

-You support F.F.F. by pre-paying $400 by April 1st, and in return you have $400 credit (with a 20% discount) at our Farmers' Market stalls. Each Farmers' Market "Market Share" purchase limit is $40. We will keep record of your purchases and balance.
-This subscription applies to all Farmers Markets that Four Frog Farm attends in the 2012 year.
