Membership Share FAQs
I want to sign up for a share, but I don't eat many vegetables. What should I do?
The "couple" share will be perfect for you! It's not very large, and with all of the recipes we include, you'll wish you had even more veggies every week! (In that case, just come and get more at the farmers' market).
How big is the "family" share?
The family share is perfect for a family of four vegetable eaters who incorporate fresh veggies into many of their dinners each week. This share option is an incredible value, and those who sign up for it are not disappointed.
Do I have to pick up my box at the same time/day/location every week?
We give several options for where you can pick up your box. Once you sign up for a time/day/location, that is where you will pick up every week.
What if I'm out of town for my pickup time?
If you are out of town, and you let us know 5 days (or more) in advance, we can switch the pickup day for you that week. We ask that this be a last resort - and ask that you ask a friend or family member to pick up for you instead. If that isn't an option, we are happy to accomodate.
What If I'm Gone For the Entire Week? Can I Get Reimbursed For That Week?
If you are gone for an entire week, we will reimburse half the amount of that week (we can either credit your account or write you a check, available the next week). So, if you are a couple share, you'll get $8 back, and if you are a family share, you'll get $13 back. NOTE: you must inform us at lease 4 days in advance - just send an email to farmers@fourfrogfarm.com, and we'll make a note of it. If you don't inform us 4 days in advance, we won't be able to reimburse you.
***We are unique in the fact that we will give reimbursements for missed weeks. To the best of our knowledge, no other farm in the area does this. We understand that families and couples vacation in the summer, so, we are happy to accomodate.
