Farmers Markets

We attend seven farmers markets in the greater Nevada County Area.  Like membership shares, selling at the farmers' markets is an integral and invigorating way to connect with our community.  We love to sell and see your faces at all these beautiful places.  Click here for a full list of the markets we attend, and when.

Internships On Four Frog Farm

Every year we host a crew of Four young people who want to learn to farm as their livelihoods.  We consider this a vital component of our farm, because we need young people in this country to become farmers.  The average age of the American farmer is 55 or so.  Without a contingent of young farmers, we may lose this way of life to old age.

Our internship program runs between April 1st and October 30th, includes room (off farm location, near the farm) and board (staples and veggies from the farm) and a small, monthly stipend.  Click here to download the full information packet and application.

Our internship also comprises a more "formal" educational component which covers, through discussions, articles and hands-on related activities, a different "topic" of farming every week.  Click here for more information about our in-depth educational internship component.
